Facilities Charge- is a monthly fee that covers a portion of your share of the poles, wires, transformers, service drops and meters, which gives you access to the electric grid.

Energy Charge- covers the wholesale cost of the power supplied to members, which accounts for at least 70 percent of the total cost of service.

Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment (WPCA) - The WPCA is used to “adjust” the amount charged to members when the price of fuels to generate electricity, rise and fall over time. Fuel cost adjustments can be additions or subtractions on your bill, depending on how much Central Florida Electric’s wholesale power provider, (Seminole Electric Cooperative) had to pay for generation fuels.
